This picture says it all – free to guests on board the first skydiving experience at sea and the signature flowrider.
I feel like a big kid again, just been on the Dodgems in the amazing SeaPlex area which also converts to a roller disco and a basketball court. In the same area is the Sea Plex Dog House where I have just had the most amazing smoke house hot dog on cheese bread – wow, my children would love this, who am I kidding they would have to drag me out of here.
The modern contemporary feel also applies to the stateroom, my home for the next two days is a Spa Junior Suite. Hopefully my pictures will show the well designed stateroom in all its glory. The balcony is well appointed with very comfortable lounge chairs and there are separate WC facilities and separate bath and shower units. New on Quantum of the Seas is the ‘wowband’ a wristband that acts as a keycard.
First impressions last and my first impression is Quantum of the Seas is very positive, a bright, contemporary, modern feel and this ship is going to take cruising to the next level. I have a few photos below of the interior including the Two70 lounge and their signature drink ‘the balancing act’ which is champagne with a crime de cassis foam balancing on top.
Anthony, Lindsay and Amanda from the Cruise365 team will be on board Quantum of the Seas in Southampton and blogging live from Friday 31 October. Follow our blog and receive first hand pictures and information on the ship that promises to be a game changer in the cruise industry.
